Bed Bug Horror, Near Manali, India
“I hadn’t expected to be sharing my bed when I found myself unexpectedly over-nighting in a local hospital whilst on a mountain biking trip in Northern India. After a breakneck eight hour drive in a bouncy jeep, we were now checked into Hotel Mission Hospital Manali, with Jim finally recovering from a near fatal bout of altitude sickness and pulmonary oedema.
Whilst Jim slept peacefully, I realised that I was not alone in the bed next to him. As soon as I put my head on the pillow and my feet on the blanket the little blighters started feasting. Leather Back Turtle Conservation Project for ANAI, In Gandoca, Costa Rica
I was working with sea turtles in Costa Rica, so u can imagine that having the right kind of insect repellent, one that actually worked and didn’t harm the turtles, was very important. That’s when I discovered The Mix. It’s deet-free, so I could use it with the turtles without harming them. Also it actually works. Being in a tropical country like Costa Rica does have its drawbacks and biting insects is certainly one of them. But I soon found that with The Mix, I had no trouble whatsoever in keeping bite-free, and incidentally it smells great!!!

Scottish Flying Insects
Thank you for your fantastic product that we used this summer in Scotland. I was rather nervous of going walking everyday with our children and all getting bitten by the Scottish insects.
The solution worked wonders with insects flying all around the children - no one got bitten, although Ben did get a small bite when he escaped from the cabin before I could apply The Mix.
